Profile: I'm originally from California but I've been living and working in Japan for 20+ years. I'm passionate about helping great companies that are not necessarily in the "super famous" category. Many of the searches I conduct are for niche, small-size B to B, B to C and life science companies. I enjoy steering the best talent in Kanto to normally overlooked small business. Before starting my career in recruiting in 2006, I studied International Business and Japanese from San Francisco State Univerity and Waseda. I hold Japanese PR (永住権) and I'm married with two daughters.

I was on the high school wrestling team all four years and played the french horn / melaphone in symphonic and marching band. I played baseball (third base) since I was five years old and I have been persuaded to cheer for the Hanshin Tigers by my wife's family.

These days I'm addicted to table tennis (modern pen holder, 中ペンでパワードライブが得意です) and I play three times a week, including in local tournaments across Tokyo.
