-Responsible for S&OP process with local partners.
-Responsible for any overlays to the baseline volume driven by new product introductions, promotions, price increases and any other commercial activity that may affect demand.
-Collaborate with the COE Demand Planners, local Innovation team and local partners on volume and size assumptions, shipment timings and cannibalization projections for all new product introductions.
-Fully drives demand and supply integration and continuously drives alignment to one plan.
-Work closely with Finance Director to ensure forecasted volume is translated into value for S&OP process.
-Generate 18 month consensus demand plan (volume).
-Analyse & manage volume assumptions, taking into account all relevant factors, both internal and external.
-Proactively address our sourcing strategy (which sites, which SKUs) to ensure we have an efficient and effective supply chain that meets the needs of the market and company’s global supply chain structures.
-Work in collaboration with the global customer service function to ensure that service level commitments to our partners are delivered against. Detailed root cause analysis and rectification where standards are not delivered.
-In quick time establish mitigation plans where sourcing and shipment challenges are faced to minimize risk of business disruption or stock shortages with high sense of urgency. This may include air-freight solutions, alternate market sourcing etc. Work with global colleagues to ensure execution of these plans.
-Japanese and English business level required
-Supply Chain planning experience including experience managing S&OP process and understanding of financial (P/L) implications
-Experience in logistics and inventory management
-Finance background a plus
-Wider cross-functional experience preferable e.g. Commercial or Finance
-Prior experience leading and embedding S&OP best practice ways of working a plus
-High degree of quantitative and analytical skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Japanese and English.

- SAP experience a plus!
