Responsibilities
Position will manage the HR function for Japan while working closely with stakeholders overseas and locally. This person will be responsible for improving and running the HR function for Japan for a growing organization.

- Manage the entire employee lifecycle
­- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
­- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process
­- Understand local employees, and find areas to improve their performance and experience through HR initiatives
­- Work closely with different department leaders to provide HR advice/guidance on various aspects
- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department, suggest new HR strategies
­- Play a key role in manpower planning and budgeting
­- Work closely with the senior management to review and enhance productivity
­- Work with senior management in identifying, analyzing and executing any other opportunities for improvement
­- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to support company business growth
­- Propose and implement improvements to the work rules/regulations to be in line with the market
- Manage the payroll vendor and ensure accuracy
­- Follow up with the new HR regulations in Japan and update HR policies accordingly
­- Ensure compliance with Japan labour laws
­- Maintain employee data
­- Prepare periodical HR related reports and propose new reports
­- Oversee and owning annual budget
­- Work closely with regional HR on strategic planning and execution of regional HR initiatives
­- Adapt and deliver regional projects and initiatives locally
­- Play a key role in building a strong company culture

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 10 years or more HR experience
- Experience in HR Management level roles
- Business level English
- Excellent communication skills and organization skills
- Experience working as HR Manager at smaller sized organizations a plus!
- Experience in HR consulting a plus!
- Candidates who are interested in building and tackling challenges highly preferred!
