- Company has four product categories, focusing on medical equipment and devices for surgeries
- Company has been operating in Japan for over 20 years and has moved to a new office end of last year, as a result of the company' growth
- Company has 35% of market share and market is increasing steadily; growing because of aging population in Japan
- Position will be managing 2 staff and reporting to the Controller, Finance/ Logistics/ IT (Japanese)

Requirements
- B.S. in Business Administration or technical field
- M.B.A. desirable
- Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12
- Minimum of 3 years demand planning and inventory control
- Prior Management Experience
- Knowledge of purchasing, demand planning and inventory control
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing (Japanese and business level English)
- Experience with large numbers of SKU’s and extended supply chains
- Proficient knowledge of business software (SAP,APO)
- Working knowledge of logistics concepts (i.e. Lean, six sigma, and TPS)
- Excellent interpersonal skills : comfortable with maintaining relationship with global people
- MS Office (proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work to agreed deadline
