Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the financial statements and reporting
- Responsible for the preparation of analytical reports and analysis of results
- Responsible for the enforcement of group accounting policies
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to statutory requirement
- Responsible for managing risk of the company and Internal control compliance
- Coordinate and supervise the monthly reporting process to ensure results are delivered per deadlines, with quality and accuracy
- Collate and analyze monthly comments from business line management
- Prepare reports, analysis and presentations for senior management meetings, the Board of Directors meetings and for the regional and global teams
- Provide senior management with management information to enable them to take business decisions in a pro-active manner
- Follow Group accounting rules and policies, implement country specific accounting policies / procedures
- Identify and manage the risk of the operation, including currency risk, asset risk or exposure to other risks
- Ensure prompt resolution of accounting issues, monitor audit findings
- Co-ordinate the process of planning and preparation of the annual budget and forecasting
- Regularly monitor and work closely with senior management in taking timely actions to ensure budgets and financial plans remain within approved levels
- Manage financial reporting systems developments
- Support country and business development
- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. solicitors, bankers, auditors and statutory organizations such as tax authorities
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
- At all times, comply with Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

Qualifications
- Qualified Professional Accountant, University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in financial reporting for an international organization reporting, minimum 10 years of overall professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards and practical experience at implementing new pronouncements
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of pension accounting
- Good understanding of tax and treasury related issues
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and to prepare financial statements and management reports
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills
- Solid leadership style with ability to build and inspire a solid finance community
- Ability to act as a thought leading for the finance function
