Logistics/Shipment functions;
- Ensure all shipping activities are following the regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the safe receipt, storage, pick & pack, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.
- Conduct periodical stock count and reconciliation against system data to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with the appointed freight forwarder for most accurate and preferred quotes.
- Liaise with freight forwarder to arrange for import/export.
- Maintain complete detailed warehouse materials identification.
- Ensure that records of warehouse transactions are recorded and filed accordingly.
- Understand and maintain utilize level of parts such as safety stocks and slow-moving stocks.
- Arrange for warranty goods to be returned to factory.
- Manage all logistic arrangements during annual trade show.
- Work closely with local inside sales and CS/Logistic in overseas.

Purchasing functions;
- Responsible to negotiate and purchase materials from local vendors.
- Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure they fulfil with our requirements.
- In charge of daily operational purchasing functions such as creating PO, acknowledgement from vendor with delivery date.
- Be a stopper and review necessary approvals are obtained before proceeding to purchase.

Analytical tasks
- Prepare Demo report to present to GM and sales team and output necessary information
- Follow up with sales team to ensure all the demo system are up to date and be sold when necessary
- Review slow moving and safety stock with engineers for proper stock balance
- Improve the process flow from factory shipment to custom clearance operations
- Obtain necessary knowledge of international laws, Incoterms and insurances to be able to handle international transactions
- Ensure sales team keeps revenue recognition timing based on Incoterms

- Min 3 years of logistics/warehousing experience in manufacturing industry.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people.
- Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP system would be an added advantage.
