- Company produces health, hygiene and home products and is rapidly-growing in Japan. 
- Company is doing extremely well in Japan market, with increased sales due to Covid-19.
- Position is a standalone role to begin with and will report to the Finance Director and dotted report to NPS Procurement Manger – ASEAN. Responsibility will increase after 1 – 2 years. 
- Company has R&D in Japan to develop some exclusive products for the Japan market
- Company is currently centralizing Indirect Procurement department; this role is created as a direct result of this process; a challenging and exciting role for candidate looking to work on greenfield projects.

- Works closely with country key stakeholders in understanding needs, objectives and priorities to optimize total cost, quality and service.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and works cross-functionally in developing and executing sound sourcing strategies for NPS areas in partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Understands indirect material spends across the business, analyses category markets and translates into actionable strategies and forward-looking analyses. Identifies, selects and develops suppliers, negotiates and contracts within portfolio and supply based in alignment with Global NPS strategy.
- Accountable to continuously improve supplier performance including service and quality for NPS
- Identifies and monitor risks and opportunities related to each category. Drive the organization to mitigate identified risks and to quickly implement opportunities adopting creative solutions.
- Acts to continuously deliver COP improvement and NWC.
- Develop & manage commercial category Roadmap such as POSM, Events, Premium, GWP, advertising and e-commerce to drive long-term growth.
- Manage requisition in compliance with Divisional below and above Clip level and Auto work on requirements.


- Proven Category Management expertise, within Indirect, ideally with exposure across Marketing and commercial fixed costs.
- Familiar with leading complex, cross-functional, sourcing projects.
- Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Business or other relevant discipline. MBA advantageous 
- Ability to work in a truly global organization. Proven experience in working in a fast moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure.
- High degree of fluency of English is required for negotiations and internal communications. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Unsurpassed negotiation techniques with exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
