本ポジションでは会計マネージャーに直接レポートします(外資系企業での豊富な経験を持つ、国際的な視点を備えた方です!)。マネージャーはチーム育成やトレーニングにも積極的に関わってくれるため、安心してスキルを伸ばすこともできます。チームは6~8名規模で、SAPを使用しています。

Responsibilities
– Prepare, record, and reconcile Accounts Payable, accrued liabilities, and prepayments in line with accounting standards and company policies.
– Review incoming invoices for proper approval, accurate coding, and timely booking; escalate any irregularities.
– Post journal entries (e.g., import duties) and maintain accurate accounting records.
– Supervise and lead a team of accountants and bookkeepers, providing guidance, training, and support in daily tasks.
– Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local standards and company guidelines.
– Liaise with Finance leadership and cross-functional departments (Retail, Marketing, Operations, E-commerce) to streamline processes, resolve invoice/accrual queries, and strengthen collaboration.
– Support and coordinate complex accounting projects, initiatives, and implementation of ideas to improve working capital efficiency.
– Provide cash outflow forecasts, support treasury and cash management, and oversee payment runs with proper internal controls.
– Assist with month-end and year-end closing, external audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accuracy of documentation.
– Manage intercompany transactions, general ledger integrity, trial balances, and reconciliation of AP, accrual, and prepayment items in SAP (or equivalent ERP).
– Monitor and control Travel & Expenses (T&E), ensuring timely processing and participating in system/process improvements (e.g., ERP–expense integration).
– Provide support on other accounting tasks and projects as required by business needs.
Qualifications
– 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
– Foreign ERP (SAP, Oracle etc.) user experiences
– Ideally previous experience on AP, in a structure with a solid P2P process
– Experience managing a small team (2~5 members)
– Experience working in Retail/E-commerce business
– Bachelor’s degree in business/economics, finance, accounting, or any other related field
– Nissho boki level 2 or above (CMA or CPA is a plus)
Skills & Knowledge
– Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles in IFRS and JGAAP, and Japanese commercial practices
– Advanced MS Excel skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese
– Written and verbal English proficiency
