■報告先とチーム構成
本ポジションは日本の財務責任者（またはファイナンスマネージャー）にレポートし、契約社員を含め3～5名ほどの財務チームとともにSAPを活用しながら業務を進めていただきます。

Responsibilities

General Ledger Maintenance
– Maintain and manage general ledger to ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
– Perform account reconciliations and verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
– Fixed asset management

Financial Reporting
– Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
– Provide analytical support for management reporting and decision-making.

Audit and Tax Support
– Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
– Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant local regulations.

Process Improvement
– Identify, develop, and implement enhancements to accounting processes and systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and control.

Treasury Operations
– Support daily payment processing and cash management activities through online banking systems.
– Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and control.

Budgeting and Forecasting
– Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
– Support financial presentations and related management reports.

Finance Projects and Ad Hoc Support
– Participate in ERP system upgrades, integration projects, and process automation initiatives.
– Provide financial support for ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects as required.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders across regions and external partners such as auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifications

– Nissho Boki 2nd grade certification or equivalent knowledge and skills.
– Relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting, or within a banking institution.
– Hands-on experience with JGAAP.
– Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or US GAAP is a plus.
– Experience with SAP (ERP 6.0 / FI / AA / CO).
– US CPA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
– Understanding of accounting practices related to retail business, including fixed asset management, regardless of industry.
– Experience with foreign or imported retail brands is an advantage.
– Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese.
– Business-level proficiency in English is a plus.
– Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
