Responsibilities

– Prepare A/R, A/P, F/A and G/L entries by compiling and reviewing financial data
– Prepare and process payments upon verification of required documents.
– Verify and maintain supporting documents for all financial transactions.
– Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
– Support business stakeholders by coordinating tasks and responding to inquiries.
– Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies through data analysis.
– Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain financial integrity.
– Assist with internal financial reports, tax filings, and audits by collecting and summarizing data.
– Support the system migration, including testing, troubleshooting, and post-go-live operation
– Other ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

– 10+ years of accounting or finance experience in multi-national companies
– Strong knowledge of JGAAP and IFRS
– Native level Japanese skills, and basic English skills in speaking and writing, with a strong willingness to improve.
