Responsibilities

– Support and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing tasks
– Prepare and analyze financial statements, and suggest improvements
– Lead budgeting, forecasting, KPI reviews, and management reporting
– Communicate effectively with the APAC CFO and global finance teams
– Strengthen financial processes and internal controls
– Provide analytical and operational support to the Head of Finance & IT
– Help improve finance operations and the overall organizational structure

Qualifications

– Native-level Japanese
– Business-level English
– Practical finance experience in a Japanese company (accounting required)
– Experience with monthly and annual closing
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance
– At least 3 years of relevant finance experience in Japan
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Team player who can work across departments
– Proactive and able to drive improvements in a changing finance environment
– Strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly

Welcome Skills and Experience:

– CPA qualification
– Experience in management accounting (FP&A, budgeting, forecasting)
– Reporting experience in a global company
– Experience improving finance processes or leading project initiatives
