■チーム構成・ERP・レポート先
Finance & Accountingチームは、15名以上のメンバーで構成され、SAPを使用しています。本ポジションのレポート先は国内の日本人Finance Directorです。

■Accountingから一歩Business寄りへ
本ポジションはIndividual Contributorとして社内のシェアドサービスチームの協力しAccounting業務に携わることは勿論、SAPデータを分析し、差異や事業パフォーマンスを可視化してManagementの意思決定を支えるポジションです。決算・Reporting経験を活かしながら、より事業に近いFinance業務へ広げられます。

Responsibilities

– Be responsible for extracting financial and operational data from SAP and other systems.
– Analyze, validate, and transform SAP data into meaningful financial reports and management information.
– Prepare regular and ad-hoc SAP reports to support finance, operations, and management requirements.
– Perform financial analysis and provide insights into variances, trends, and business performance.
– Support month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with company deadlines.
– Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies.
– Maintain master data and ensure data integrity within SAP.
– Collaborate with team members responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and other accounting functions to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
– Coordinate with internal departments including Operations, Sales, IT, HR, and Shared Service Centers.
– Respond to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
– Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing necessary data and documentation.
– Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and accounting processes.
– Handle confidential information professionally and securely.
– Perform assigned tasks independently and take ownership of deliverables.
– Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

– Accounting knowledge equivalent to Japanese commercial bookkeeping level 2 or above
– Strong SAP ERP knowledge and experience
– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Table, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred)
– Data extraction, validation, and analysis skills
– Month-end closing experience
– Financial reporting experience
– Fluent in Japanese and English (reading, writing, verbal)
