Responsibilities

Accounting Manager
– Oversee accounting operations for one legal entity, including monthly/annual closing, AP/AR, general ledger, inventory, and fixed assets.
– Ensure accurate journal entries and accruals; maintain compliance with local and global standards (e.g., IFRS).
– Collaborate with finance leadership on closing processes and audits, including tax inspections.
– Support timely and accurate tax filings (corporate, consumption, withholding, customs) and transfer pricing documentation (Local File) with external advisors.
– Coordinate annual audits and assist in internal audit processes.
– Improve accounting workflows, support shared service enhancements, and help develop processes for new business models.

Staff & Division Development

Qualifications

– CPA certification or experience in financial auditing.
– Solid understanding of accounting standards including IFRS and local GAAP, as well as tax accounting.
– Language: Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
– Strong communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial teams; proactive and self-motivated.
– PC Skills: Advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT, Pivot Tables).
– ERP Experience: Proficiency in core finance modules (FI, CO, AA) of ERP systems such as SAP; experience in profit center reporting is a plus.
– Familiarity with additional systems/tools such as SAP BW, SmartView, Essbase, Concur, or mid-sized ERP platforms.
– Good balance at Commentator /Business Partner/Scorekeeper/Custodian competencies
