■ 経理業務を幅広く担当
本ポジションでは、日本法人の経理業務全般を担当します。レポートラインは日本のファイナンス部門および国内マネジメントチーム、本社の経理部門となります。社内の契約スタッフ2～3名と連携しながら、会計システム（ERP）を用いた業務をリードしていきます。

Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting
– Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee financial consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring alignment with accounting standards (e.g., U.S. GAAP).
– Prepare and review financial statements and variance analyses; ensure timely, accurate regulatory reporting and compliance.
– Supervise development of financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
– Manage OPEX planning and spending tracking.
– Provide financial insights to support business activities and account-level decisions.

Inventory Management

– Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations.
– Develop and maintain global cost accounting policies and procedures.

Process Improvement & Compliance
– Drive continuous process improvements, especially in automation and financial system optimization.
– Ensure compliance with internal controls (e.g., SOX), policies, audits, and regulatory standards.
– Lead ERP and financial reporting system implementations, ensuring documentation and training.

Team Development & Collaboration
– Coach accounting staff to support high performance and professional growth.
– Foster collaboration across finance, accounting, and other teams to improve efficiency.
– Act as main contact for external auditors and tax advisors, coordinating audits, filings, and compliance.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certification such as CPA or CMA is required.
– Over 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a trading or US / European publicly listed company environment.
– Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience with a demonstrated track record of team leadership and development.
– Strong background in cost accounting, regulatory financial reporting, and financial systems management.
– Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
– Fluent communication skills in both English and Japanese, written and verbal.
– Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial and ERP systems.
– Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, international accounting standards, and local tax regulations.
