■ チーム構成とレポートライン
本ポジションでは、2名の直属メンバーを含む約15名の経理チームをまとめていただきます。レポート先の日本のファイナンス責任者は海外勤務経験豊富な国際感覚に優れた方です！

Responsibilities

– Lead, mentor, and manage two direct reports and oversee a finance team of approximately 15 members.
– Promote a high-performance culture through ongoing staff development, performance management, and training programs.
– Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements compliant with relevant accounting standards (e.g., J-GAAP and US GAAP) by supervising teams responsible for accounts payable, rebate accounting, and general ledger.
– Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for both local and global entities.
– Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
– Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting procedures.
– Address complex accounting topics, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and intercompany transactions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Tax, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis to support regional compliance and business planning.
– Keep abreast of updates to accounting standards and evaluate their impact on business operations.
– Support finance-related system upgrades and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

– 10+ years experience working in international environment handling all areas of general
accounting (IFRS, USGAAP, JGAAP closing)
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (highly preferred)
– CPA (Japan or US) or equivalent certification highly desirable
– Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
– Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a track record of building team capabilities
– Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English
– Strong analytical and leadership skills, with excellent attention to detail
