Responsibilities

– Reporting to the Japan Financial Controller
– Lead the finance team of 2 supporting staff (AR&AP) and support two manufacturing plants in Japan.
– Staffs training and development
– Lead the financial close, forecasting and annual budgeting independently.
– Handle and manage all statutory and tax requirements.
– Responsible for all financial activities reporting to US corporate.
– Communicate clearly the drivers for the month’s results and provide gap analysis to Financial Controller.
– Provide value added financial analyses with accurate data to help business leaders make better decisions.
– Manage all local statutory requirement, tax and corporate secretarial matters.

Qualifications

– 8+ years of Accounting / Finance experience at multinational companies
– Good knowledge of Japanese GAAP, US GAAP, Local Tax
– Oracle and Hyperion knowledge will be an advantage.
– Good command of spoken and written English
– Proficient in the use of advance excel.
