Responsibilities

– Manage daily accounting operations, including hands‑on tasks and SAP postings.
– Handle corporate and consumption tax filings and coordinate with auditors.
– Oversee cash flow, treasury activities, and communication with banks.
– Communicate with the Italian headquarters via English email for alignment and reporting.
– Prepare monthly and quarterly IFRS/JGAAP reporting packages using SAP.
– Ensure accurate sales and AR data in partnership with retail teams.
– Work cross‑functionally to deliver timely business information.
– Identify issues early and propose practical solutions across teams.
– Lead and develop a small team of 1–2 members with accountability.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree required.
– At least 5 years of accounting experience; retail experience is a plus.
– Able to independently manage accounting operations and tax matters.
– SAP experience is essential.
– Business-level English (reading/writing) for daily email communication with the HQ.
– Experience leading a small team is a plus.
– Self-starter with a positive attitude who can work well under time pressure.
– Strong multitasking skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
– Proven high productivity and efficiency.
– Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP system.
