Responsibilities

– Responsible for all financial activities reporting to oversea HQ
– Local TAX filing
– Lead the finance team of 4 staff to support 2 manufacturing plants in Japan.
– Participate in the development of long-range budgets and other projective guidelines and measures for the manufacturing plant
– Coordinating financial analysis projects, such as cost comparison, budget variance analysis
– Provide value added financial analysis with accurate data to help business leaders make better decisions
– Submit Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual report to oversea HQ
– Support the business partners, participate in developing operational strategies, targets and efficiency.
– Responsible for the development and submission of yearly plans and monthly forecasts.
– Communicate clearly the drivers for the month’s results and provide gap analysis to APAC Controller
– Implementation of Oracle module, ie Inventory and 3-way match.
– Other ad hoc assignments.

Qualifications

– Experience working at multinational manufacturing company
– Good knowledge of Japanese GAAP, US GAAP, and Local Tax
– Oracle and Hyperion knowledge will be an advantage.
– Business level of spoken and written English
– Proficiency in using excel.
