Responsibilities

– Prepare Japan GAAP accounting and financial statements monthly/quarterly/yearly.
– Coordinate interim and year end statutory financial statements audit.
– Prepare and file annual corporate income tax and other indirect taxes monthly/quarterly/yearly.
– Prepare and file transfer pricing documentation in Japan.
– Work with HR for pension budget and accounting
– Coordinate interim and year end SOX audit and any internal audit.
– Host and manage any tax audit /scrutiny in Japan to ensure no surprise adjustment.
– Provide accounting and tax guidance and support to country business team.
– Prepare and report company financial and business forecast and result to each country government department.
– Work on financial records for other compliance in customs, corporate social responsibility, foreign currency control
– Other tasks assigned by manager.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree and above, accounting/tax background
– Familiar with Japan tax laws
– Computer skills at least in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
– Good command of English and communication skills
