Responsibilities

– Provide decision-making support and tools to Sales and Operations, including setting a robust sales forecasting process and optimizing supply chain performance.
– Drive the Annual Reporting Cycle and rolling forecast, while ensuring strong margin and cash flow control across the company.
– Lead cash management, non-cash working capital optimization, and financial impact assessments of strategic decisions (e.g. Capex/ROI).
– Oversee all accounting operations under IFRS and local GAAP, ensuring full compliance and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
– Support internal/external audits and enhance finance function efficiency through controls and benchmarking; ensure tax and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
– Facilitate strategic planning in collaboration with Japan management, identifying growth segments and implementing corporate strategies.
– Contribute to major Capex decisions, demand planning (S&OP), and commercial negotiations with relevant financial analyses.
– Serve as the go-to person for tax authorities, external auditors, and cross-functional financial projects within the Group/Division.
– Provide KPI reports and insights to Sales and Manufacturing teams, and oversee legal/financial compliance across policies, contracts, and hedging activities.
– Lead integration of new acquisitions and participate in Credit Committee leadership when required.
– Actively participate in management-level councils, including board and shareholder meetings as needed.
– Mentor Finance staff to build succession capabilities, and train non-Finance departments on financial impacts through coaching and communicatio

Qualifications

– 5+ years of operational experience in finance, and experience with managing direct reports and teams.
– Experience working with multinational firms.
– Thorough knowledge of Finance, reporting, controlling and taxation.
– Fluency in English, both verbally and in written.
– Can convey complex financial and confidential information in a clear and understandable way.
– Can influence and convince people in the team and other fields of expertise.
