Responsibilities

– Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global policies, including daily transactions (AP, AR, tax), reporting, and financial controls
– Lead monthly and annual closing activities
– Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with local and global accounting policies and support all internal and external audits
– Monitor the cash-flow situation of the company and ensure for sufficient liquidity to meet short-term and long-term targets
– Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
– Collaborate with global finance teams on planning, analysis, inventory, and other cross functional topics
– Provide financial advice and guidance to management and other departments
– Contribute to the development of the company’s overall financial strategy
– Lead or support finance-related projects
– Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors/Shareholder meetings
– Other ad-hoc duties or analysis as assigned.

Qualifications

– 10+ years of Accounting & Finance experience
– Proficiency with SAP
– Native-level Japanese and strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
– At least Nissho bookkeeping level 2 degree or similar
– Autonomous and hands-on
