Responsibilities

– Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
– Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
– Supervise the preparation of monthly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
– Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
– Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts
– Support strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts
– Monitoring of company’s internal controls in accordance with its own accounting manual and ICS matrix
– Support finance department members in improving their skills and carrying out daily accounting operations
– Reporting finance status to country manager, group finance manager and take any actions for achieving budget with managers
– Provide financial support for corporate planning department’s strategic planning
– Support creating, monitoring, analyzing sales and margin with sales
– Cost improvement with factory managers
– FTE and payroll cost improving with HR manager

Qualifications

– 5+ years of experience in finance roles in manufacturing industry
– Proven proficiency in financial analysis and strategic development
– Familiarity with IFRS and Japan accounting standards
– Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations
– Business level English, and native level Japanese
– Proven experience managing small to mid-size organizations
– Experience in managing and processing with an internal control
