Responsibilities

<Financial Planning & Analysis>
– Lead financial forecasting and budgeting for business units, covering sales, cost of goods sold (COGS), expenses, capital expenditures (CapEx), and headcount planning.
– Conduct financial reporting and analysis on key metrics such as sales performance, gross margin, operating income, and spending trends.
– Proactively monitor and manage business risks and opportunities.
– Collaborate with FP&A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost center management, and project tracking.
<Business Partnering & Decision Support>
– Serve as a strategic finance partner to business unit leaders and marketing teams, providing financial insights to support growth initiatives.
– Review and validate key business proposals, including pricing adjustments, financial structuring of deals, and CapEx investments.
– Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to assist with business development, ROI calculations, and resource allocation.
– Actively engage in critical business meetings such as monthly performance reviews, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) sessions, and leadership councils, offering financial insights and recommendations.
– Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
– Drive business performance through ongoing financial monitoring, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
– Support continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Qualifications

– 8-10 years of finance experience in a multinational corporation as a Finance Business
Partner supporting commercial operations.
– Fluent in Japanese and English.
– Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a curiosity to deeply understand business
drivers.
– Proficiency in ERP systems, financial planning tools, and advanced Excel skills.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at
all levels.
