Responsibilities

Business & Financial Analysis :
– Prepare the monthly rolling forecast in collaboration with stakeholders
– Analyze P&L variances.
– Analyze trends in supply chain costs and incorporate findings into the rolling forecast.
– Support the sales team with profit margin analysis
– Analyze marketing spending
– Perform GAP analyses

Monthly Accounting Closing Activities:
– Supervise monthly closing activities handled by the accounting team.
– Manage accruals for IFRS and inventory revaluations.
– Prepare, analyze, and report the accounting/tax package to the group for monthly closings.
– Review and manage variances between local and global financial systems.
– Review data across different reporting areas to ensure consistency.
– Prepare financial reports

Qualifications

1) Technical Competencies and Professional Experience Required:
– Advanced Excel skills
– Familiarity with databases
– Strong understanding of P&L structure
– Experience with financial modeling techniques
– Solid foundation in cost accounting
– Accounting certification (US CPA or Japanese equivalent preferred)
– Minimum 8–10 years of relevant work experience

– Self-starter with the ability to work independently
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong team spirit
– Proven ability to meet deadlines
