Responsibilities

– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for reporting to group and corporate levels.
– Monitor and validate the accuracy and reasonableness of standard costs, analyze variances against actual costs, and recommend corrective actions.
– Collaborate with financial analysts to analyze and assess financial results, providing insights and recommendations to support business financial goals.
– Develop and analyze rolling financial forecasts, including but not limited to profit and loss, inventory, cash flow, and net working capital.
– Prepare ad-hoc financial estimates and analyses to support informed business decisions related to investments, budgeting, and overall financial strategy.
– Work proactively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to leverage financial expertise in solving business challenges as a trusted business partner.
– Utilize internal business tools and software for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
– Demonstrate initiative in identifying and mitigating financial risks.
– Ensure internal controls are in place and operate effectively in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
– Drive automation and efficiency improvements for standard financial processes to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications

– At least 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Business Administration.
– Experience of standard costing at manufacturing company preferably on SAP.
– Knowledge of USGAPP, JPGAPP. Knowledge of fiscal and legal norms.
– SAP experience highly desirable
– Excel, PowerPoint, Word
– Bookkeeping, 2nd grade
– Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, learn new skills, and take on new challenges
– Collaborating with others and being able to work effectively as part of a team
– Ability to propose and implement improvements
