Responsibilities

Reports to: HR Director
As a HR Business Partner/HR Manager for this company, you will support employees and managers, oversee hiring, training, and employee relations, manage performance reviews, and ensure HR operations run smoothly. The responsibilities of this position include:

– HR Consultation: Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
– Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, define job descriptions, and collaborate with hiring managers and external partners for efficient hiring.
– Learning & Development: Oversee onboarding processes and conduct training sessions for new initiatives and HR policies.
– Employee Relations: Address workplace concerns, provide support, and foster a positive work environment.
– Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, manage salary evaluations, and support employee development.
– HR Administration: Maintain HR-related data and collaborate with departments such as finance and retail to ensure compliance and efficiency

Qualifications

– 7+ years of recruitment experience, in an agency or in-house setting.
– Solid understanding of the talent market in the retail industry.
– Knowledge of Japan Labor Law, Compensation, and Benefits.
– Fluency in Japanese and business-level English communication skills.
– Experience in luxury or fashion business is a plus.
– Strong administrative skills with speed and accuracy.
– University degree required.
