Responsibilities

Position: Standalone in Japan
Team: Team members from partner companies in Japan and APAC to collaborate with
– Collaborate with leadership to drive HR initiatives that enhance team capabilities, organizational effectiveness, and engagement.
– Ensure local policies and procedures align with best practices, covering work policies, employee well-being, compensation, and benefits.
– Oversee employee relations, manage investigations, grievances, and policy interpretation while fostering strong management-employee relationships.
– Maintain accurate HR data and records, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit standards.
– Manage key HR processes, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and terminations, while analyzing trends to improve talent metrics.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– 8+ years of progressive HR experience
– HR Generalists or HR Managers both welcome!
– Strong communication skills
– Good PC skills
– Strong labor law knowledge
