Responsibilities

This HR Operations Manager position offers the chance to lead core HR operations while driving meaningful cultural and organizational initiatives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
– Lead HR Operations: Manager payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes while ensuring full compliance with Japanese labor laws.
– Drive Talent Development: Champion learning programs and engagement initiatives to support leadership growth and employee satisfaction.
– Enable Data-Driven HR: Provide insights through HR reporting and support global HRIS improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
– Manage Temp Staffing: Oversee temporary staff recruitment and agency coordination to ensure smooth, compliant onboarding and retention.
– Oversee General Affairs: Supervise office operations overseeing 1 GA staff, improving workplace experience through smart process and vendor management.

Qualifications

– 5+ years solid HR operations experience with strong labor law and compliance knowledge (Sharoshi a plus)
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
– Logical, empathetic, and open-minded approach to problem-solving
– Proactive, customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
– Business-level English proficiency (written, spoken, and reading)
