Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to lead people strategies and drive growth in our Japan operations. This role is key to shaping a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workforce, while aligning local initiatives with regional and global goals. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and the APAC HR team to deliver impact across recruitment, development, and culture.

– Develop and execute HR strategies to support business growth in Japan, aligned with APAC and global objectives
– Lead end-to-end recruitment to attract and retain top talent in the Japanese market
– Drive talent development initiatives and local implementation of global HR programs
– Improve employee engagement and retention through data-driven strategies and initiatives
– Partner with leadership to design and deliver leadership development and coaching programs
– Support performance management processes to enhance leadership and team effectiveness
– Ensure full compliance with Japanese labor laws, policies, and HR best practices
– Provide expert guidance on employee relations and foster a fair, compliant workplace culture

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– 8+ years HR experience
– Strong communication skills
– Good PC skills
– Strong labor law knowledge
– Self motivated, strategic thinking
– Good analytical skills
