Responsibilities

– Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership, advising on hiring, retention, and team development
– Oversee HR operations while delegating routine tasks (e.g., payroll, admin) to one HR staff member
– Ensure full compliance with Japanese labor laws, advising management on legal and policy risks
– Lead internal communication efforts to improve transparency and alignment across teams
– Shape and promote company culture through engagement initiatives and values-driven HR practices
– Develop and execute employer branding strategies to strengthen talent attraction and retention
– Manage performance reviews, career development planning, and succession initiatives
– Review and update HR policies, contracts, and processes to reflect company growth and best practices

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– 5-10+ years HR Generalist experience
– Strong communication skills
– Good PC skills
– Strong labor law knowledge
