Responsibilities

Reports to: Senior HR Manager

Responsibilities include:
– Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment for retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate roles; manage onboarding and orientation programs.
– ­Performance & Development: Support performance management processes, coaching managers, and implementing learning and development programs tailored for retail teams.
­- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues; develop initiatives to enhance engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
– ­HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws; manage HR reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
­- Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with store leadership and corporate teams to align HR strategies with business objectives; provide insights to improve workforce planning and operational efficiency.
– Mentorship & Learning: Work closely with senior HR leaders to gain exposure to strategic decision-making and best practices in an international retail environment.

Qualifications

– Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably within the FMCG or Retail sector.
– Minimum 3 years end-to-end Recruiting Experience.
– Fluent in English and Japanese.
– Strong understanding of employee relations, stakeholder management and working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
– Store Management experience in the Retail sector (preferred)
