Responsibilities

Position will cover wide HR duties and if hired at manager level, will cover staff management duties.

Report to Head of HR

Team: 3-4 members in Japan

– Recruitment activities and employment procedures (including onboarding and offboarding) and orientation
– Management of HR information and employee transfers using the global HR system
-Payroll processing, labor and social insurance administration, and workplace health and safety management
(Payroll is outsourced, so mainly communication and co-working with vendor)
– Management and administration of employee benefits
– Support for internal education and training programs
– Other HR-related tasks in alignment with the above

Qualifications

Based on experience level position will be adjusted to either specialist level or manager level. Candidates at both levels are welcome to apply.

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– 3+ years relevant HR experience (specialist level) 
– 5-8+ years relevant experience (manager level)
– Experience in payroll / HR operations preferred
– Strong communication skills
– Good PC skills
– Strong labor law knowledge
