Responsibilities

Reports to: Japan General Manager
Team Structure: 4 Member Team (Head of HR, HR Specialist, 2 Temp GA Staff)

This role supports daily HR operations and helps improve HR systems and processes. In the position you wlll:
– Manage HR systems (Workday, Jobkan) and prepare HR documents
– Support payroll, attendance checks, social insurance, and year-end tax tasks (payroll calculation is outsourced)
– Handle employee administration, including contracts, work rules, health checks, and safety management
– Support recruitment activities up to candidate screening (can focus mainly on hiring if experienced)
– Support performance evaluation, salary review, and HR system improvements

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of HR experience (new graduates welcome)
– Comfortable using English for chat communication (translation tools are OK)
– Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and openness to using new systems
– Experience in HR operations such as attendance, payroll support, social insurance, or year-end adjustment is a plus
– Recruitment experience or experience supporting system implementation is a plus
