Responsibilities

Primarily focus on payroll and recruitment responsibilities

Payroll:
– Process monthly payroll for Japan
– Process employee pension
– Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, social insurance, and labor laws.
– Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS.
– Coordinate with external payroll vendors and auditors as needed.
– Support year-end tax adjustments and statutory filings.
– Assist with compensation and benefits administration.

Recruitment
– Manage full-cycle recruitment for Japan
– Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
– Maintain and update HRIS and ensure compliance.
– Onboarding and Offboarding Procedure:

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
– 3+ years of HR experience in operations, payroll, and recruitment.
– Strong knowledge of Japanese labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance.
– Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
– Native Japanese, Business-level English is an advantage.
