Responsibilities

– Oversee day-to-day labor management and HR operations
– Administer employee compensation processes, including salary, commuting allowances, and other payments
– Manage employee lifecycle procedures, including onboarding, internal transfers, and resignations
– Support recruitment activities and coordination
– Prepare and issue official documents and certificates for internal and external stakeholders
– Handle reporting to headquarters and government authorities (U.S. headquarters, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, etc.)
– Support occupational health and safety programs, including health checkups, vaccinations, safety committee activities, and coordination with industrial physicians
– Provide employee support and facilitate smooth internal communication and coordination
– Liaise with external professionals such as labor/social security attorneys, lawyers, and industrial physicians
– Administer employee benefits programs
– Support bilingual communication in English and Japanese, including interpretation and translation as needed

Qualifications

– Bachelor`s degree
– 10 years of work experience (including HR)
– Business English & Native Japanese
– Knowledge of the Labor Standards Act
– PC skills: Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)
– Preferred: Health Supervisor qualification
