Responsibilities

Report: Japan HR Director
Team: Member of a small-mid size team

– Shape and Run HR Programs: Plan and improve HR systems like grading, evaluation, pay, and career paths—aligned with U.S. HQ but tailored for Japan.
– Hire and Keep Great People: Manage both mid-career and new grad hiring to build a strong, stable team that supports long-term growth.
– Develop Future Leaders: Provide training and growth opportunities to help employees become future managers and leaders.
– Support Teams Across the Company: Work closely with departments to understand their needs and offer HR and admin support that boosts team performance.
– Improve HR Systems Continuously: Maintain and upgrade key HR processes to keep them effective, fair, and up to date.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
– 7+ years of wide HR / GA experience
– Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred
– Business level English
– Good PC/IT skills: MS Office, HRIS, etc.
– Strong communication skills
– Team player attitude
