Responsibilities

– Lead day-to-day supply planning operations to ensure timely product availability and fulfillment.
– Maintain optimal inventory levels, balancing service levels, cost, and cash flow.
– Proactively identify supply risks and opportunities through scenario planning and cross-functional collaboration.
– Drive the supply component of the S&OP process, aligning supply with sales forecasts and financial goals.
– Manage supply planning for new product launches, ensuring timelines, inventory readiness, and risk mitigation.
– Improve planning efficiency through continuous process improvements and the use of planning tools.
– Ensure accurate supply data management within ERP and planning systems

Qualifications

– 5+ years of experience in supply planning or end-to-end supply chain management.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
– Solid understanding of S&OP processes and inventory optimization strategies.
– Proficiency in ERP systems
– Strong communication and collaboration skills with global and local stakeholders (Japanese and English).
– Experience in project management, especially related to new product launches or system implementations.
– Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to both strategic and operational detail.
