Responsibilities

-Manage the demand forecasting process and maintain accurate short-, mid-, and long-term demand plans.
-Lead regular demand review meetings and collaborate with Sales and Product teams to incorporate market trends, promotions, product launches, and phase-outs.
-Translate demand forecasts into inventory, shipment, transportation, and warehouse requirements.
-Monitor inventory levels and support stock allocation, inventory planning, and initiatives to reduce excess and slow-moving inventory.
-Work cross-functionally with Logistics, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure demand plans are practical and aligned with business needs.
-Communicate demand requirements and changes to suppliers and global supply planning teams to support capacity and supply planning.
-Identify and communicate demand, supply, logistics, and capacity risks, supporting appropriate mitigation and contingency planning.
-Lead and develop team members while promoting effective collaboration, accountability, and a positive working environment.

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, logistics, or a related field.
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
-Working knowledge of transportation networks and logistics service providers.
-Experience using ERP, demand planning, or other supply chain systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with good analytical and organizational skills.
-Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, with experience managing priorities and collaborating across teams.
