Responsibilities
– Manage global transportation operations, including import/export processes and customs clearance.
– Oversee 3PL warehouse operations to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flows across retail logistics.
– Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities in alignment with company KPIs, covering B2B, B2C (e-commerce), returns, quality control, and special events.
– Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, 3PL providers, global offices, customs brokers, and external vendors.
– Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and resolve discrepancies or shortages as required.
– Evaluate 3PL performance, conduct inventory reconciliations, and ensure compliance with company standards.
– Manage SAP operations on a daily basis, liaising with global IT teams to address and resolve system issues.
– Prepare monthly KPI reports and conduct logistics cost analyses to drive operational efficiency.
– Process purchase orders for warehouse materials and manage monthly invoice handling in collaboration with the Finance team.
Qualifications
– Over 5 years of hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
– Highly proficient in Excel and various computer systems.
– Fluent in both English and Japanese at a business level.
– Demonstrated success in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings with strong multitasking abilities.
