Responsibilities

-Oversee daily import and export operations to ensure efficient and timely execution.
-Monitor shipment status and coordinate resolution of operational issues.
-Manage relationships with logistics service providers to support operational performance.
-Identify and resolve operational and service-related issues through effective problem-solving.
-Maintain and update operational procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
-Ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
-Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and operational support.

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain operations.
-Bachelor’s Degree.
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Knowledge of international shipping, trade compliance, and logistics processes.
-Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
-Proven ability to lead projects or cross-functional initiatives.
-Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
-Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with a continuous improvement mindset.
