Responsibilities

-Report to Managing Director
-Standalone position
-Onboard new customers in compliance with company procedures.
-Process customer sample requests for validation and material approval using Salesforce.
-Respond to customer inquiries related to the Lead-to-Order process (e.g., documentation, questionnaires, agreements) using Salesforce and other tools.
-Share market change insights to support demand planning (up to 24 months) and provide input for budgeting.
-Accurately manage customer payment-related tasks (e.g., credit notes, commissions).
-Coordinate audit preparations, confirm audit dates, manage NDAs, and collect agendas in a timely manner.
-Address customer complaints and follow up with interim and final reports to ensure resolution.
-Ensure agreements are met to achieve accurate, first-time-right deliveries.
-Assist Sales Managers with commercial tasks (e.g., analytics, performance KPIs, order trends).
-Support the Order-to-Cash (OtC) team in debtor management as a point of escalation.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or a Commercial field
-Background in customer service or support within an international B2B environment
-Strong verbal and written communication abilities
-Business-level English and native-level Japanese
-Skilled in handling complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders
-Proactive, customer-oriented, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership
-International mindset with cultural sensitivity
-Working knowledge of SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, and business intelligence (BI) reporting tools
-Work Style: Service-driven, results-oriented, and a strong team player
