Responsibilities
-Source goods (e.g., raw materials, components, finished products) from domestic and international suppliers.
-Handle B2B procurement transactions, including inter-company purchasing activities.
-Execute daily procurement tasks efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Maintain accurate master data and utilize ERP systems effectively for procurement processes.
-Evaluate supplier capacity based on demand forecasts and support cost reduction initiatives.
-Analyze procurement performance using key metrics to meet defined KPIs.
-Communicate with suppliers to optimize pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms; support supplier relationship management as needed.
-Participate in sourcing projects and make informed supplier selections.
-Ensure compliance with internal controls, ethical standards, and relevant legal requirements.
-Escalate procurement-related issues to appropriate management levels in a timely manner.
-Work with quality teams to assess suppliers on quality, cost, and delivery, and support performance improvement efforts.
-Perform additional tasks and support business needs as required.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or technical school graduate, preferably in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or related fields such as purchasing or demand management.
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or production planning.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships.
-Proactive and forward-thinking attitude with a positive mindset.
-Willingness to embrace change and apply improvements (e.g., through Lean initiatives).
-Ability to leverage past experience for practical problem-solving and process improvement.
-Capable of making sound judgments within the scope of responsibilities.
-Self-motivated and able to work independently.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
-Understanding of production support systems and inventory management.
-Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
-Business-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
