Responsibilities

-Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services supporting optical semiconductor manufacturing
-Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, and contract execution
-Forecast demand and oversee inventory to ensure stable and cost-effective supply
-Lead supplier (vendor) management to improve performance, quality, and delivery
-Support new product introductions and capital investment projects from a procurement perspective
-Plan and execute procurement initiatives to optimize cost and efficiency
-Collaborate with global teams and cross-site stakeholders to ensure alignment
-Provide ongoing procurement support to maintain smooth and reliable operations

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or relevant experience
-Bachelor’s degree
-Business-level English
-Business-level Japanese
-Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes and supplier relationships
-Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment
-Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
-Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
