Responsibilities

-Monitor cost changes and drive cost-reduction initiatives to meet target pricing.
-Lead all supply base activities and ensure timely execution of cross-functional actions.
-Support development and implementation of processes to improve internal processes.
-Organize and lead sourcing committee activities.
-Achieve targets for cost, and SOP milestones.
-Ensure early supplier nomination and implementation.
-Oversee deployment of the processes throughout product development.
-Maintain performance metrics, tracking tools, and ensure use of production-intent suppliers for parts.

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience handling procurement, SCM, or relevant experience
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Business-level Japanese.
-Business-level English.
-Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-Background in manufacturing is a plus!
-Strong communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across functions, management levels, and global suppliers.
-Demonstrated negotiation, organizational, multitasking skills, and hands-on experience with SAP.
