Responsibilities

-Lead and take responsibility for departments including production, assembly, materials management, quality, supply chain, and facility management.
-Collaborate with the Managing Director to design department-wide strategies, including localization and the development of the local supply chain and set KPIs.
-Regularly review product costs and processing times to reduce product lead times.
-Optimize warehouse levels based on targets to minimize dead stock and slow-moving inventory.
-Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
-Maintain organized warehouses and production sites, ensure smooth material flow, efficient workplace organization, and optimal use of all corporate resources.
-Coordinate operations with all internal departments.
-Actively collaborate with the headquarters to build cooperative relationships in areas such as efficiency, quality, and communication.
-Manage department staff with a strong awareness of quality, cost, and ownership of work.

Qualifications

-5+ years of SCM, warehouse, or relevant experience
-Experience as a department head or senior manager is a plus!
-Experience working for the local subsidiary of a multinational company is a plus!
-Bachelor’s degree
-Native Japanese
-Business-level English
-A role model who can lead by example as a manager
-Ability to adapt to the company culture
-Open-minded and able to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
-Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
