Responsibilities

– Streamline logistics processes for sales items and SPM, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery by collaborating with Business Divisions and 3PL partners.
– Lead a team of 3 direct reports and 3-4 agency staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering skill development.
– Oversee 3PL service providers, monitor KPIs, and optimize logistics costs while improving service levels.
– Re-engineer warehouse operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
– Manage and optimize logistics budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
– Drive key projects, including ERP upgrades and global initiatives, ensuring successful implementation.

Qualifications

– At least 5 years of experience in logistics within multinational consumer goods
– Strong proficiency in software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP/WMS systems.
– Demonstrated project management experience and a background in warehouse operations with 3PL partners (preferred).
– Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
– Proven leadership and team management abilities.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
– Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
– Business acumen and strategic thinking expertise.
