Responsibilities

-Set safety stock levels based on actual consumption and business conditions
-Build and maintain the demand forecasting process for selected items
-Coordinate with third-party warehouses to ensure timely tracking
-Set alarm levels for each stock item
-Balance third-party inventory levels with business demand
-Replenish stock from distribution centers (DCs)
-Optimize stock availability and minimizing transportation costs through efficient reorder processes (timing, method, etc.)
-Optimize inventory through regular analysis of consumption speed
-Provide proposals for continuous improvement
-Monitor and improve logistics quality, including delivery speed and accuracy
-Lead the logistics team by setting direction and ensuring a strong customer-oriented mindset
-Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports, ensuring proper competence development
-Identify and manage high-quality sub-suppliers for logistics services
-Lead investments in necessary equipment or facilities based on actual operational needs

Qualifications

-2+ years experience in logistics operations
-Experience at an foreign-owned company is a plus!
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Strong data analysis skills and a business-oriented mindset
-Good communication skills for coordination and cross-functional collaboration
-Experience in inventory planning and stock/inventory management
-Experience in establishing new work processes with third-party partners
