Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of SCM/Global HQ

– Use sales forecasts to plan what needs to be made and ordered, and coordinate schedules with outside manufacturers.
– Choose and review suppliers, and handle buying tasks like getting quotes, placing orders, and receiving materials.
– Give production instructions to partner factories, check inventory levels, and manage related ERP (SAP) work.
– Oversee warehouse and delivery partners to keep storage conditions safe and make sure shipments and stock records are correct.
– Work with quality teams on raw‑material checks, import steps, and basic crisis‑response procedures.
– Make sure operations follow rules like GMP and carry out ESG‑related checks on suppliers.
– Coordinate with headquarters, support supply‑chain projects, and complete required government reports.

Qualifications

– 5+ years of end-to-end SCM experience
– Working in the life science, medical device, health care sector big plus!
– Experience dealing with Project Management
– Strong communication skills
– Native Japanese
– Business level English (reporting overseas)
