Responsibilities

-Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, ordering, import coordination, and inbound inventory control, while monitoring key performance indicators.
-Ensure optimal inventory levels across a large and complex SKU portfolio (approx. 30,000 items), including products, accessories, and spare parts.
-Support and coordinate a small planning team, including demand planners, temporary staff, and external logistics providers.
-Oversee operational execution of order management, import processes, and inbound logistics activities.
-Improve and standardize workflows to increase efficiency and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
-Maintain accurate product master data, including SKU details, lead times, and planning parameters.
-Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to align demand forecasts and supply plans through structured planning processes.
-Coordinate with regional and global supply chain teams and manufacturing sites to resolve supply issues and ensure stable product availability.

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain planning within a global or multinational company.
-Bachelor’s Degree.
-Business-level English.
-Business-level Japanese.
-Experience in people management and leading small teams.
-Experience managing demand and inventory for large-scale SKU environments (1,000+).
-Knowledge and hands-on experience in international trade processes, including import operations, customs clearance, and freight forwarder management.
-Strong stakeholder management skills, including coordination with Sales, regional headquarters, and international teams.
-Experience using ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
-Experience with demand planning tools.
