Responsibilities

-Lead procurement, import operations, domestic logistics, and inventory management to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
-Develop and implement cost-effective supply chain strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
-Maintain optimal inventory levels through sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory analysis.
-Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams.
-Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, develop sourcing strategies, and lead contract negotiations.
-Manage product quality, food safety, and supply chain risks while resolving operational challenges in a timely manner.
-Prepare budgets, monitor department performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management and regional stakeholders.
-Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a high-performance culture and preparing future leaders through talent development and succession planning.

Qualifications

-10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics, including 5+ years in a management role.
-Business-level Japanese
-Business-level English
-Experience leading and developing teams.
-Experience using ERP systems and managing supply chain data.
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Ability to plan, make decisions, and improve business operations.
-Honest, reliable, and able to adapt to change.
-Experience in import business, international logistics, demand planning, S&OP, supply chain improvement projects, or multinational companies is a plus!
